A copper rose dawn in Lamorna was created between January and April 2021. When the world shut down I began to go on early morning runs along the coast path between Mousehole and Lamorna where I live. Most mornings I was out there alone. On occasion the sunrise saturated the landscape with a golden hue. The drive to generate this painting was based on the desire to share my view of the golden sunrise on those mornings of solitude.
